CFL stands for Compact Fluorescent Light bulb. CFLs are a type of Energy-Efficient Light bulb (EFL).
CFLs are a good choice as they use one-quarter of the electricity of a regular incandescent light bulb, they cost less over the lifetime of the bulb and produce less environmental pollution.
