Rechargeable Battery
Rechargeable batteries contain elements harmful to the environment and should be kept from landfill. They are likely to contain nickel cadmium which can leach into the soil, water and air in landfills or incinerators.

Drop in the battery recycling wheelie bin at the Whanganui Resource Recovery Centre.
Please keep from landfill wherever possible. The packaging should advise batteries be taken to a collection site.
