Reduce the need for lawn-mowing by sewing wildflowers and allowing part of your lawn to become a mini-meadow. The bees will love it!
It is best to leave the grass clippings on the lawn after mowing as they will provide a ready source of fertiliser, and also help the soil to retain water in turn promoting root growth and a healthy green lawn.
